Alisson Becker is the center of attention today. This cannot be separated from the action carried out by the former AS Roma goalkeeper.
Alisson scored when Liverpool visited West Brom's headquarters in Week 36 of the 2020-21 Premier League. Alisson broke into The Baggies' goal in the 95th minute.
The goal made Liverpool win 2-1 over West Brom. Alisson also made history by becoming the first goalkeeper to successfully score goals in competitive matches for Liverpool since 1892.
However, Alisson is not the first goalkeeper to score goals in the Premier League competition. He is listed as the sixth goalkeeper to do so.

1. Peter Schmeichel
Peter Schmeichel is the first goalkeeper to score in the Premier League competition. He did it while strengthening Aston Villa in the 2001/02 season.
In the match against Everton, Schmeichel also advanced to the opponent's penalty area. From a corner kick, a volley from the former Manchester United goalkeeper entered the Everton goal.
Unfortunately, Schmeichel's goal was unable to prevent Villa from losing. Aston Villa surrendered with a score of 2-3 in the match.
2. Brad Friedel
Brad Friedel is a goalkeeper who has had plenty of experience in the Premier League. He has played for a number of English clubs such as Liverpool, Blackburn Rovers, Aston Villa and Tottenham.
During his time in the Premier League, Friedel made 450 appearances with 132 clean sheets. The goalkeeper from the United States also scored one goal.

The goal was created when Friedel defended Blackburn in the 2004/05 season. He scored in the match against Charlton Athletic in the 90th minute.
3. Paul Robinson
Paul Robinson had strengthened Tottenham Hotspur. The former England goalkeeper made history with the Spurs.
Robinson was able to create goals for The Lillywhites. This happened when Spurs met Watford in the Premier League continued in the 2006/07 season.
Robinson scored a spectacular goal with a free kick from 88 meters. The goal made Tottenham win 3-1 at White Hart Lane Stadium.
4. Tim Howard
Tim Howard has played for two Premier League clubs; Manchester United and Everton. He scored a goal while playing for the Toffees.
Howard scored when Everton faced Bolton Wanderers in the 2011/12 season. He beat Bolton goalkeeper Adam Bogdan from inside his own penalty area.
Howard's action occurred in the 60's. Unfortunately, Everton were beaten by a score of 1-2 in this match which was held at Goodison Park.
5. Asmir Begovic
The last goalkeeper before Alisson to score in the Premier League was Asmir Begovic. At that time he defended Stoke City.
Begovic scored when Stoke faced Southampton in the 2013/14 season. The Bosnian goalkeeper scored from a long-range shot.
