Jose Mourinho was once a part of Inter Milan. The man from Portugal coached Inter for two seasons in the 2008-2010 period.
Together with Mourinho, Inter achieved great success. They became the first Italian team to win the treble winners.
Inter won the treble winners in Mourinho's second season at the Giuseppe Meazza. At that time the Nerazzurri won the Coppa Italia, Serie A and the Champions League.
In that season, Mourinho recruited 10 new players. Most of them are the backbone of the Nerazzurri in embracing the treble.

Jose Mourinho's Last 10 Purchases
1. Diego Milito
Purchased from Genoa, Diego Milito became an important player for Inter Milan in the 2009/2010 season. The Argentine bomber scored 30 goals, including two against Bayern Munich in the Champions League final.
Milito played for Inter until 2014. He then returned to Argentina with his first club Racing Club. Milito retired from the green field in 2016. The former Zaragoza player is now sports manager at Racing.
2. Thiago Motta
Thiago Motta also imported from Genoa. The Brazilian-born midfielder was redeemed by Inter Milan with a dowry of 10.2 million euros.

Motta became one of Inter's regular players under Jose Mourinho. He played for the Nerazzurri until 2012.
The former Barcelona player then continued his career with PSG. After retiring in 2018, Motta pursued a career as a coach.
3. Lucio
Lucio was brought in by Inter Milan from Bayern Munich. Even though at that time he was 31 years old, the Nerazzurri did not go to waste to bring Lucio.
Lucio is able to appear solid with Inter. The Brazilian defender formed a formidable duet with Walter Samuel at the back of La Beneamata.
After three years at Inter, Lucio then continued his career with Juventus, Sao Paulo, Palmeiras, FC Goa, Gama and Brasiliense. Lucio finally decided to retire on January 29, 2020.
4. Samuel Eto'o
Inter Milan released Zlatan Ibrahimovic to Barcelona. In exchange, the Nerazzurri got Cameroon striker Samuel Eto'o.
Eto'o has been able to come together with another new Nerazzurri striker, Diego Milito. He managed to score 16 goals throughout the 2009/2010 season.
Eto'o defended Inter for two seasons before continuing his career with Anzhi Makhachkala, Chelsea, Everton, Sampdoria, Antalyaspor, Konyaspor and Qatar SC. Eto'o retired from football on 7 September 2019.
5. Denis Alibec
Denis Alibec was brought by Inter Milan from Farul Constanta. The Romanian player was only 18 years old when he joined the Nerazzurri.
Alibec was unable to break into Inter's first team. He only played two matches with the club based at the Giuseppe Meazza.
After being loaned to several clubs, Alibec was released to Astra Giurgiu in 2014. Currently, the 30-year-old player plays for Turkish club Kayserispor.
6. Kerlon
Kerlon joins Inter Milan from Cruzeiro. Unfortunately, the recurrent knee injury makes Kerlon spend more time in the treatment room.
The Brazilian has never played in Inter's first team. After being loaned to several clubs, Kerlon was released to Fujieda MYFC in 2012.

After three months without a club, Kerlon decided to retire from football on 20 October 2017. Spartak Trnava became the last club in his career.
7. Marko Arnautovic
Marko Arnautovic came to Inter Milan on loan from Twente. The Austrian player had played by Jose Mourinho three times.
Arnautovic's career at Inter lasted only one season. In the following season he decided to join Werder Bremen.
Having played in the Premier League with Stoke City and West Ham, Arnautovic currently plays for Shanghai Port. He has strengthened the Chinese club since 2019.
8. Wesley Sneijder
Wesley Sneijder joins Inter from Real Madrid. The Dutch midfielder went on to prove to be one of the Nerazzurri's best buys.
Sneijder had a big contribution in helping Inter win the treble winners. He scored eight goals and 15 assists throughout the 2009/2010 season.
Sneijder then parted ways with Inter in 2013 by leaving for Galatasaray. After strengthening Nice and Al-Gharafa, Sneijder retired on 12 August 2019 and is now the director of FC Utrecht.
9. Goran Pandev
Goran Pandev returned to Inter Milan in January 2010. Behind the Giuseppe Meazza after playing for Lazio for four and a half seasons.
Pandev started alongside Diego Milito and Samuel Eto'o in that year's Champions League final. He is one of the important players in Jose Mourinho's team.

Apart from one season with Galatasaray, Pandev has continued to play in Italy ever since. Now the Macedonian is playing for Genoa.
10. McDonald Mariga
McDonald Mariga was brought to Inter Milan on February 1, 2010. The Kenyan midfielder was recruited from fellow Serie A club Parma.
The 31-year-old has scored just one goal in 36 games for Inter. He then returned to Parma in 2014
In 2017, Mariga joined Spanish club Real Oviedo. He is currently retired from the world of football.
